PADI ADVANCED OPEN WATER DIVER
If you’re a certified diver, aged 12 or over and already an Open Water certified diver, you can take the PADI Advanced Open Water Diver course. You can sign up for a PADI eLearning course to get you started immediately and study at your own pace. This course includes theory and knowledge review, five Adventure Dives and practical tests. There are two required dives, deep and underwater navigation, and you choose the other three to complete all five Adventure Dives. You can choose from a variety of Adventure Dives, including night diving, wreck diving, peak performance buoyancy, and many more. Once completed, you’ll become a certified Advanced Open Water Diver.
PADI RESCUE DIVER
The PADI Rescue Diver course builds on what you’ve learnt in your previous courses on how to prevent problems and what to do if any problems occur. Your instructor will teach you all the necessary knowledge and skills, such as self-rescue, emergency management and equipment, how to recognise and manage stress in other divers, rescuing panicked divers and unresponsive divers, and how to think like a rescue diver. During the course, you’ll have the opportunity to practise and apply all the things you’ve learnt throughout the course. To enrol, you can register with PADI Rescue Diver elearning online and start with the five knowledge development sections.
EMERGENCY FIRST RESPONSE PROVIDER
This training is a prerequisite for the Rescue Diver course. It provides you with the basic First Aid knowledge and skills to respond to emergencies not only while scuba diving but also in other emergency situations on land. During the training, you learn how to perform proper CPR, rescue breathing and BLS (Basic Life Support). You also learn how to operate the Automated External Defibrillator (AED), how to use barriers to reduce disease transmission, prevent and care for shock, handle spinal injury and First Aid kit considerations. Having these lifesaving skills and knowledge will give you the confidence to help others when necessary.
